Hi! I’m Rafael, and welcome to IT Rafa.
I’ve always been curious about technology and about how the world behind the screens actually works. That curiosity turned into a passion that led me to study Electronic Engineering and, later, to dive fully into IT, networking and cybersecurity. I currently work as a Network Engineer and Security Analyst, where every day brings new challenges that keep me learning and growing.
This blog exists to share my path through IT and cybersecurity. I hold certifications including CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+ and CCNA, and I’m working toward more advanced ones such as Cisco CCNP. Along the way I share what I learn: hands-on tutorials, technical breakdowns, and the projects and tools I find genuinely useful day to day.
What you’ll find here
- Tutorials and practical guides covering a wide range of technical topics, from useful IT, cybersecurity and network administration tools to creative projects with Raspberry Pi and open source software.
- Opinions and reflections on technology, current trends and personal experience.
I’m convinced the best way to learn is by sharing what we know and putting it into practice. My goal is to make complex topics approachable and to encourage others to explore this field. On this blog you’ll find resources and content for beginners and for anyone who wants to go deeper.
If you’re looking for a place to find resources, learn about technology and stay motivated to keep growing, IT Rafa is for you.
I invite you to explore, learn and share this journey with me. Today is a great day to learn something new.
